NEWSFLASH - NORWAY WRC 2007 Two of my pupils did real well in Rally Norway, which was the first time as a world rally championship event. Mikko Hirvonen drove brilliantly and beat his Ford team mate, twice world champion Marcus Gronholm and Sebastian Loeb, driving faster and with zero mistakes. Just how I have taught him. He handled it all very well. Even having yellow special glasses, which I have been pushing long time. Oh well, it takes long time these youngsters to accept new things. I am also proud of Jari-Matti Latvala. He is fast, and good in interviews too. He had problems with power steering but still finished 5th. Not bad for a 21 year old. This is not Formula 1. In rallying you need more experience than motor racing. The big difference is that in motor racing you can practise in high speed a lot. Not so in rallying, where you take every corner only once a year. Norway results and news click here
